Baby giggles are the best!

5 months!

Patrick is five months old today. Time is flying by! We celebrated by starting solids yesterday, and it went pretty well. No tears and only minor amounts of carrots spit back out at us. Paul is the chef, leading all recipe research and food preparation, while I play the role of restaurant general manager by scheduling meals and purchasing all items necessary for feeding (mainly bibs, spoons, an storage containers) from amazon.com. Here are some pics of Patrick's first taste of real food!

Catch Up Post #8 (and FINAL): The Pumpkin Patch

One of the most fun things about having a baby.... PUMPKIN PATCH PHOTOSHOOTS :) Last weekend, we took Patrick to the Woodside Pumpkin Festival. Our friend, Liz, came along with for some baby time and she also served as official family photographer. Thanks, Liz! As you can tell from the pictures, we all had a great time! I AM JUST A LITTLE EXCITED FOR HALLOWEEN :) 

 

Catch Up Post #7: It's October

October kicked off with Patrick's four month doctor's appointment! The verdict: he's a healthy little guy who has the green light to start solids and go in the running strolller (on flat streets). Dad was EXCITED on both accounts! He weighed 16 lbs 14 oz and was 25.75" long. He's in the 75th percentile for everything except head size.. he's holding steady there at 85th percentile!
